The European Commission Puts Managers at the Centre of Europe’s AI Transition
CEC European Managers awarded EU-Funding from the European Commission to lead the cross-sectoral AI MANAGE project
AI MANAGE is a joint social partner project between Employers and Employees to develop Cross-Sector Guidelines, Tools and Training on responsible AI Management
CEC European Managers is a recognised EU social partner and represents 1 million leaders and managers across Europe
CEC European Managers has been officially awarded funding by the European Commission to lead the two year AI MANAGE action, a flagship European social partner project shaping how Artificial Intelligence is responsibly implemented in the workplace.
CEC European Managers — the recognised EU cross-industry social partner representing managers — will coordinate AI MANAGE which will deliver practical, cross-sector guidance for the responsible use of Algorithmic Management, AI and Generative AI.
The project will develop evidence-based AI Guidelines, an AI Management Toolbox and dedicated training modules, based on a longitudinal field study with companies in Denmark and France. The objective is clear: innovation and competitiveness must go hand in hand with trust, quality of work and strong social dialogue.
Ambitious Social Partner Cooperation
AI MANAGE brings together a unique consortium of workers’ and employers’ organisations,
reflecting the essence of European social dialogue. Alongside CEC European Managers, the project
partners includes Lederne Denmark and CFE-CGC France, representing managers and professionals, as well as Dansk Erhverv Denmark and U2P France representing employers.
Artificial Intelligence is transforming work organisation, leadership and responsibility.
The social partners involved in the project are aiming to ensure that Europe’s AI transition strengthens both economic performance and social cohesion.
AI MANAGE is generously co-funded by the European Commission under the SOCPL-2025-SOC-DIALOG call.
